Research

Scientific publications based on research conducted at PNU-NanoLab provide the best representation of the team’s area of expertise.

The areas of research include:

  1. Synthesis of nanodispersed metal oxides using sol-gel methods, autocombustion, hydrothermal methods, chemical deposition, or templated synthesis.
  2. Preparation of porous carbon materials from plant-based raw materials.
  3. Production of graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide.
  4. Development of electrode materials for hybrid supercapacitors using porous carbon materials, reduced graphene oxide, and composites based on these materials and transition metal oxides.
  5. Use of oxide nanomaterials as electrocatalysts for hydrogen energy, photocatalysts for environmental purification from organic pollutants, and cathodes for fuel cells.

We are open to collaboration in these and other areas.
